Privacy Policy

This site does not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels or advertising tags. It sets nothing in your browser's storage. There is no account, no sign-in and no form to fill in, so there is nothing for us to collect.

Two third parties are involved in serving the page, and both see your IP address as an unavoidable part of delivering it:

• Fontshare, which serves the typefaces the site uses.
• Our hosting provider, which keeps standard server logs of requests (IP address, timestamp, page requested, user agent) for security and reliability.

• We do not build a profile of you.
• We do not sell, rent or share data with advertisers.
• We do not track you across other sites.
• We do not use your visit to train anything.

Threat detection runs on your device. A machine-learning model that already sits on the phone scans files, images and messages locally. That content is never uploaded, and we never receive it.

Two things do leave the device, and only these two:

• Links and QR codes. To tell you whether a destination is malicious, the address is checked against a third-party reputation service. Reputation data changes constantly and cannot usefully be held on a phone, so this has to be a live lookup. Treat a private link, such as a password reset or an unlisted document, as seen by that provider.
• Anonymised threat signals. When something is detected, a hash and a category are shared with the network so other devices are protected too. Nothing is attached that identifies you or your device.

Avantr is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Because we do not collect personal data through this website, there is generally nothing for us to retrieve, correct or delete. If you believe we hold information about you, write to us and we will tell you what we have and act on your request.

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. If a change materially affects what leaves your device, we will say so on the site rather than quietly amending this page.
